The challenge
People buying sealed cards worry about two things: fakes and resealed boxes. And a small store has no room for a full e-commerce setup with a cart, synced inventory and checkout.
The question was how to build trust and sell without creating an operation the business could not keep up with.
What I built
- A collector’s binder storefront. Every product is a numbered lot with set, year, language and condition.
- Checkout on WhatsApp. Each lot’s button opens a chat with the item name already typed. The customer types nothing.
- Category and language filters. Portuguese, English, Japanese and Chinese, with rarity marks from 1 to 4.
- Trust sections. A four-step seal check, official suppliers, a return policy and FAQs.
- Community. A WhatsApp group that hears about pre-sales and restocks before any other channel.
Technical SEO
The store has no page per product, so structured data does that job: OnlineStore, an ItemList with the lots, FAQPage and WebSite. All in static HTML that loads fast and that Google reads without running JavaScript.
Why no cart
Here, price, shipping and installments are agreed in the chat, and the chat is where the sale happens. The site takes the customer there with as much information and as few clicks as possible.
